She was inspired to paint by her grandmother who was an amazing oil painter and seamstress. She loved to paint, dance and sing and found yoga as a way to fully express her emotions.  She began working with her yoga instructor Jerome Gross (Effulgence Yoga Therapy) to bring children’s yoga into the public alternative schools. They started an organization called California School Fitness in 2001 where they brought children’s yoga to severely emotionally disturbed youth and to after school programs around the city.

Kelly - Massage Therapist

It's been over 8 years since Kelly received her associates degree in massage therapy and she has continued to learn every year since. A firm believer in pre and post treatment conversations, client education and a mixed modality approach, Kelly is dedicated to uncovering your hidden imbalances in order to customize a treatment specifically for your short term and long term goals. No two people or problems are identical, nor will they respond to the same treatment all the time, and that's where exploring massage modalities comes in handy. Kelly has experience treating clients with; amputations, chronic muscle and joint pain, constipation, implanted devices, joint replacements, TMJ dysfunction, functional scoliosis, sinus issues, spinal fusions, stress and sleep disorders, and much more. With over 15 years of prior experience in the office environment, Kelly also understands the importance of professionalism and communication which she stands by throughout your treatment.

Born and raised on Long Island, NY, Kelly recently moved to NC to spend more time with her family. When she's not working or reading, she can be found exploring the area with her dog, kayaking, reaching out to friends and family, or the unavoidable -  running errands!
