I enjoy both of our services @ the Spa.  The Infrared Salt Detox Bed is warming & healing for my Arthritis and overworked muscles.  The Halotherapy is relaxing, healing, healthy, and boost my immune system. 

How long have you been at the LKN Salt Spa?

"Since January 2018... but I’ve been a client since we opened in July 2017."

"Getting to know such wonderful clients and feeling that we’re passing on health benefits."

How do you like to spend your extra time?

"When I'm not working @ the Spa or @ my church Grace Covenant, I love being with my family, especially with my grandson Alex.  I also love walking with my Chihuahua "Poppy!"  I love being outdoors or watching an old movie on TCM!

Tabetha Daugherty is a Spa Attendant, she has been with Lake Norman Salt Spa since October 2019. Tabetha has worked in many fields which all speak to her passion to serve others. As a caregiver for the elderly, to owning two businesses of her own, a paint and sip party business and a gym, it’s her passion to help others take time for themselves physically and mentally. Tabetha’s faith is a huge part of who she is. God has given her a heart to serve. Her desire is to wait, serve others, and see what God has in store for her next. When she isn’t at the spa, she likes spending time with her family. Her kids are her heart and she likes to be anywhere that they are. She enjoys being outside, hiking, biking, kayaking or any outdoor activity. Your life is made up of chapters or seasons. The LKN Salt Spa is the next chapter

EmOcean (Elise McCutcheon) was born and raised in San Diego California has been practicing Hatha Yoga since she was 16 years old.  Born to a family of artists, she had always understood the healing aspect of creative expression. She was inspired to paint by her grandmother who was an amazing oil painter and seamstress. She loved to paint, dance and sing and found yoga as a way to fully express her emotions.  She began working with her yoga instructor Jerome Gross (Effulgence Yoga Therapy) to bring children’s yoga into the public alternative schools. They started an organization called California School Fitness in 2001 where they brought children’s yoga to severely emotionally disturbed youth and to after school programs around the city. 

In 2005 she traveled to the Virgin Islands in the Caribbean, to attend the University of the Virgin Islands and received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology.  She brought her knowledge of...

Kelly - Massage Therapist

It's been over 8 years since Kelly received her associates degree in massage therapy and she has continued to learn every year since. A firm believer in pre and post treatment conversations, client education and a mixed modality approach, Kelly is dedicated to uncovering your hidden imbalances in order to customize a treatment specifically for your short term and long term goals. No two people or problems are identical, nor will they respond to the same treatment all the time, and that's where exploring massage modalities comes in handy. Kelly has experience treating clients with; amputations, chronic muscle and joint pain, constipation, implanted devices, joint replacements, TMJ dysfunction, functional scoliosis, sinus issues, spinal fusions, stress and sleep disorders, and much more. With over 15 years of prior experience in the office environment, Kelly also understands the importance of professionalism and communication which she stands by throughout your treatment. 

Born and raised on Long Island, NY, Kelly recently moved to NC to spend more time with her family. When she's not working or reading, she can be found exploring the area with her dog, kayaking, reaching out to friends and family, or the unavoidable -  running errands!
